The Rina Schenfeld Dance Theater was founded in 1979. It incorporates several activities such as: a dance company, a dance school, workshops and conferences. Students at the dance school are taught a combination of different technics in classic, modern and contemporary dance, aiming at emphasizing their creativity and improvisation. There are different levels of classes for children, youth and adults, as well as classes for professional dancers.
Throughout her career, Rina Schenfeld has followed a common tangent line combining choreography, dancing and teaching. Many of her former students have become famous both in Israel and abroad. Rina continues to develop and explore new means of expression and transmits to her students her permanent quest after a new language, the encounter of the human body with a range of physical objects, objects from nature, human voices as well as different technics of video art.
